The countdown to the most important meeting of the industrial sector in this part of Europe is underway. Almost seven hundred exhibitors are preparing their machines, robots and modern solutions to proudly present them at their stands during the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE fair. It is the innovative technologies admired in Poznań that create the face of Polish industry. What is its future? In what direction should the transformation of this industry go? – these are some of the questions that will appear on four conference stages. The debates will take place over four fair days.

Nearly half of this year's exhibitors at ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE, which will be held from 30 May to 2 June, are global companies. They are the leaders of the metal industry, robotisation and modern technologies for this industry. There will be companies from: Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Taiwan, Turkey and China.

A rich exhibition of key industries will be located in seven halls. There will be plenty of news and world premieres.

Science and business at ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE

For several years, the industry has been facing many challenges such as broken supply chains, problems with the availability of raw materials, and increased energy costs.

– All the more we appreciate the commitment and effort of the exhibitors who, presenting such spectacular technological achievements at their stands, create this edition together with us – says Anna Lemańska-Kramer.

The intensive development of industry would not be possible without the support of science. The cooperation of industry leaders with leading universities and research centres undoubtedly influences the dynamics of changes taking place in modern technologies.

Contemporary fairs are the meeting point of science and business, which is why the event is accompanied by conferences initiated by universities and research centres. One of them is the Industry 4.0 Forum organised by the Mechanical Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Centre for Industry 4.0 of the Silesian University of Technology. Thanks to this initiative, representatives of key technical universities in the country will be present at the fair.

The use of digital solutions in production optimisation, practical simulations in digital factory twins, machine learning and AI in the area of automation – these are just some of the issues that scientists will raise during the Forum.

For twenty years, the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE fair has been accompanied by conferences organised by the Chief Technical Organisation and the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians. This year, during the 16th Engineering Forum, speeches were planned to encourage discussion on the conditions of technical creativity and the possibility of implementing its results into the economy, which is extremely important and is one of the foundations for the development of new technologies suitable for the digital era.

In today's challenging times, it is not only the implementation of innovative solutions that counts, but also care for the safety of their use. It is all the more worth paying attention to the initiative of the Forum organisers, namely the renewal of the letter of intent regarding the Safe Practices and Environment Programme.

The fair exhibition will be also co-created by scientific centres. The SCIENCE FOR THE ECONOMY Exhibition is a special place resulting from the cooperation between Grupa MTP and universities, institutes and research centres.

As part of the ITM INDUSTRY EUROPE fair, the Industry Next Congress will be held for the third time under the slogan: The world of industry in times of transformation. This sector is undergoing dynamic changes, which raises many questions about its future that Congress experts will seek answers to.

Fair visitors will be able to take part not only in conferences and dozens of discussion panels, but also in numerous shows, both at exhibitors' stands and on stages located in 4 halls.

Visitors of MTP Poznan Expo fairgrounds will have an opportunity to visit the exhibition of the Modernlog Trade Fair of Logistics, Transport and Storage, the Subcontracting Industrial Cooperation Fair, and the Work Safety in Industry Exhibition.

Subcontracting connects business

We live in times when the process of creating a mutual network of business contacts is one of the most important factors determining professional success.  This opportunity is provided by participation in

the SUBCONTRACTING Industrial Subcontracting Exhibition. This is an event that allows you to connect industrial clients with subcontractors. The advantage of the fair are lectures for buyers (supply chains, purchasing processes) as part of the event entitled: SUBCONTRACTING – JA TO KUPUJĘ (I BUY IT) created by the partners: ProcureMe, PROEBIZ, MPM Productivity Management, Quality Concept, SMM Legal. Visitors can get acquainted with the offer of subcontractors in the field of metalworking, plastics, electronics and companies providing services for the industry. The organisers provided a special internet platform for planning meetings as part of the international cooperation exchange SUBCONTRACTING MEETINGS.

Safety first

The Occupational Safety in Industry Exhibition, held every two years, is an opportunity to meet experts, learn about occupational safety in the industrial sector, and the latest products and solutions in the field of occupational safety and security. This year, the event is held under the slogan: Safety First. The exhibition will be accompanied by two conferences. On the first day of the fair, on 30 May 2023, at 12:00 p.m. – a conference of the National Labour Inspectorate entitled 'PROFESSIONAL OHS SERVICE AS THE FOUNDATION OF SAFE WORKING CONDITIONS. Challenges of modern technologies' was planned. It is co-organised by the National Association of OHS Services. And the topic: 'How to improve production processes, leadership skills of leaders and increase employee involvement, or safety culture as the new LEAN' is central to the meeting prepared by the training company Step2Safety. It will take place on 1 June 2023 at 12:30 p.m. The OHS exhibition complements the offer of the ITM Industry Europe fair in odd years, when the April SAWO International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescue Equipment is not held.
