ITM Industry Europe 2019 – Smart Solutions as the future of industry

World-class exhibitors, professionals in the field of production automation, metallurgy and metalworking, modern machines and technologies, abundance of accompanying events and a unique atmosphere – all this makes the June trade fair a must-have on the calendar for companies seeking innovation and optimized solutions that meet the requirements of the fourth industrial revolution.

Nearly 1,000 exhibitors, 25,000 m2 of exhibition space, 10 exhibition halls featuring the latest developments and a wide range of solutions from all key branches of the Poland’s developing sectors – all this and more will be waiting for professionals who will come to the Poznań International Fair from 4 to 7 June 2019. Ideas and solutions developed by exhibitors and partners will make ITM Poland an even more effective means of promoting innovation in the industrial sector, giving measurable benefits to both companies as well as scientific and research institutions.

Smart trends

“We are currently witnessing a revolution that has the potential to bring new, intelligent solutions to businesses. Therefore, from 4 to 7 June 2019 at ITM Poland in Poznań, we will focus on popularizing the concept of SMART Industry; the main focus will be on digitization, integration and automation of technological processes, while exhibitors will demonstrate machines, equipment, technological solutions and software designed in accordance with the principles of Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory,” says Joanna Kucharska, director of ITM Poland, adding that “if you want to find out more about good practices, the latest trends and directions of development in the industrial sector, the INNOVATION-TECHNOLOGIES-MACHINES ITM Poland 2019 trade fair in Poznań is the best place to go.”

Many events planned for this year’s edition of ITM Poland 2019 will be themed as SMART. The Smart Factory zone will discuss and demonstrate the production process in intelligent factories (IoT, digitization, robotization). The main point on the agenda will include a series of presentations and lectures devoted to the concept of Smart Factory and its implementation on the Polish market, as well as other industry-facing topics (production management, challenges in implementing innovations and presentations of practical solutions in large companies, trends in the industrial sector, communication in business, the potential of women in the industry, etc.). Industrial discussions

ITM Poland is a great opportunity to become a leader in innovation, who will set trends in local markets, offering global solutions to their partners. Professionals are convinced that German solutions are the best ones for Industry 4.0. Therefore, the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the MTP Group decided to invite companies with German capital to participate in the ITM Poland trade fair, pointing to the leading role of innovation in developing the industry abroad.

Demonstrating German know-how, the June trade show will be an excellent opportunity to continue the development of your own company along with Industry 4.0. Smart Factory is among the many successful tools of the economies based on the fourth industrial revolution. The organizers want their partners to pay attention to ‘Intelligent factories’. A high level of customization of the products they are characterized by and the effectiveness of manufacturing processes while balancing the efforts of employees, with the effective elimination of errors during the implementation of new solutions, are all a guarantee of success for the Polish “Intelligent Factories” as well.

As in the previous editions, this year’s events accompanying the ITM Poland trade fair will include the Speakers Corner, organized by MM Magazyn Przemysłowy, where invited speakers will discuss key issues for the Polish industry. The event will take place on 5 June 2019. The current edition of MM Speakers Corner will be divided into three thematic parts. One of them will concern the Polish industry in the international context, whereas the other two will be devoted to the role and significance of the Polish Industry of the Future Foundation and Artificial Intelligence in industry. The debate will be moderated by TV journalist Radek Brzózka.

For the care of the coatings

The Welding Laboratory at the Faculty of Machine Construction and Management of the Poznań University of Technology is the organizer of the second edition of the Academy of Thermal Spraying (ANC), which will be held on June 6, 2019. The Academy is a presentation of the capabilities, achievements and profile of the companies and institutions in the field of thermal spraying of coatings. The aim of the ANC is to demonstrate the effects of cooperation resulting from the transfer of knowledge between science and industry, as well as to promote the latest developments and achievements in the field of thermal spraying. This year’s edition is held under the patronage of the Welding Technology Review magazine.

A special demonstration space, Skills Testing Ground, will also be an interesting event. “This will be the only place in which visitors to the fair have the opportunity to test out the equipment of different manufacturers during live demonstrations on various paint systems that will be held every day,” says Julian Ciesielski, the organizer of the testing ground. It is a zone where you can talk to various specialists in such areas as powder coating, wet paint applications, coating tests, washers, pumps, shotblasting machines, polymerization furnaces, paint walls, cabins, transport systems or grinding systems. This way you will be able to find solutions to problems that are experienced in paint shops or other surface treatment plants. An additional attraction for visitors will feature thematic lectures on mechanical surface treatment, wet painting and powder coating, which will be held at the demonstration area on the second day of the fair from 11.00 a.m.
